Welcome to Hevruta. Using the site and the service is subject to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
1. Definitions
"Service" - the Hevruta website and any companion application. "User" - any person who registers to the service. "Content" - any text, link or information a user submits to the service.
2. Registration and account
Registration is allowed from age 16. You must register with a real email address and verify it, or with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity in your account. One account per person.
3. User content
Content you publish is your responsibility. Do not publish offensive, misleading, sexual or violent content, content infringing copyright or the privacy of others, or unauthorised marketing. The service may remove content and suspend accounts violating these terms. Links in posts are displayed with rel="nofollow" and are not an endorsement by the service. A user may mark a post as "public" (share with the world): such a post is shown on an open page without login, together with the author's display name and avatar, and may be crawled by search engines. Sharing can be stopped at any time.
4. Conduct
Treat others with respect. Harassment, collecting information about other users, impersonation and automated use (bots, scraping) of the service are prohibited.
5. Privacy
How we use your personal information is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided as is. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of it at any time and update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site.
7. Limitation of liability
Hevruta connects people but is not responsible for meetings, conversations or relationships created through it. Please exercise caution when meeting people you met online. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the settings. We may suspend or close an account that violates the terms. A deleted account is archived and is no longer active.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
